This room can accommodate 12 babies.

Ratio is 1 staff: 3 children.

This room is particularly bright and homely and is equipped with a wide variety of stimulating toys and all the necessary equipment designed to enhance your baby’s development. When the weather permits they can be taken for walks around the gardens in the fresh air. Staff will work closely with you to ensure continuity of your baby’s routine and ample hugs and cuddles are given to help promote a safe and loving environment. Detailed information relating to your child’s day is individually recorded in their personal diary (provided by us) and can be taken home after each session. Parents are asked to provide nappies and formula but staff will make up the bottles.

Toddler rooms (1 – 2 years)

There are two toddler rooms each able to accommodate 12 children.

In this age group the children are divided into two home based rooms. They are given the opportunity to enjoy quieter activities and also given the space for many of the more energetic toddler activities and help with walking. Free play, structured learning, songs/story time and a huge range of other activities make up part of our daily routine to help with language and social development. Activities in these rooms are varied to allow the children to develop through exploration, experimentation with different equipment and have fun. The toddlers sleep on mini mattresses or in cots and eat their meals from chairs and tables or high chairs in their own home based room. Detailed information relating to your child’s day is individually recorded in their own personal diaries (provided by us) and can be taken home after every session.

As the children approach 1, 2 or 3 years of age they will have “visits” into their next room to ease the transitional period.
