20th birthday celebrations

Local businessman, Vernon Cooper, established Parklands Day Nursery within the grounds of his home in 1997.  In January 2017, children from Stapeley and surrounding areas have been learning, playing and enjoying Parklands Day Nursery for 20 years!  “It’s hard to believe that our earlier children may be at university now and may be even parents themselves!  We could not let this milestone pass by and staff, parents, grandparents and children of all ages celebrated together  and enjoyed party games, food, fizz and a wonderful interactive puppet show.  Everyone had a fantastic time and we would like to thank all our parents and children, old and new, for their businness, support and for many happy memories.”

The photographs show the celebrations and Deborah Nettleton, Vicky Finnan, Jane Heath and Gail Charlesworth.  All four have been part of the Parklands Day Nursery team since it’s beginning in January 1997 and are very proud of their achievements.
