OWLS ROOM

2-3 years – staff ratio 1:5

This room is designed to encourage children to grow and develop. Staff enhance learning and development through play and exploration. Activities in this room are more planned and structured whilst remaining a good balance between adult-led and child-led activities with the focus on discovery and fun! The children start to learn about colours, shapes, numbers, letters and writing skills through play.

They have their own messy play area and use a separate dining room where the children sit together with the staff and the social element of mealtimes is encouraged and celebrated.
