Tadpoles at Parklands Day Nursery

Pre-School have had an unFROGettable week with new additions to the room – tadpoles!! They have already provided so many learning opportunities for the children. We have discussed life cycles and found lots of books which include frogs and tadpoles. Our research showed us that they like green vegetables to help them grow and the children were eager to cut courgettes and peppers themselves. We then got creative with green play dough and paint and even sang Five Little Speckled Frogs to the tadpoles. We are so curious to discover the changes over the next few weeks.
